TRANSCRIPT REQUESTS

To order an official transcript of a Court hearing, contact one of the transcription services listed in the boxes below and include the following information:

• Case Caption
• Case Number or Adversary Case Number
• Name of the Hearing Judge
• Date of the Hearing
• Type of Service (normal or expedited)
• Type of Deposit (check or credit card)

The transcription service agency will advise of procedures and costs associated with your request. Please note that the Court does not make any recommendation as to which service provider to use.

Transcripts are not available for Section 341 Meeting of Creditors, but recordings of hearings are available from the U.S. Trustee's Office.  Please contact the U.S. Trustee's Office at (502) 582-6000 if you would like a copy of a Section 341 Meeting of Creditors recording.

After a transcript is ordered and filed with the Court, the transcript is not available in CM/ECF for 90 days from the date of filing of the transcript unless a user purchases the transcript from a transcriber.  To gain access to the transcript during the 90 day restriction period:

• Parties can purchase a copy of the transcript from a Court approved transcriber at the rate established by the Judicial conference, or
• The transcript may be viewed (but not printed) at the public terminals in the Clerk's Office.

AUDIO REQUESTS

In lieu of, or in addition to, an official transcript (unless required for an appeal), parties may also order a copy of the audio recording of the hearing. Before ordering an audio recording, you must contact Courtroom Services at 502-627-5600 to ensure the audio recording is available. After placing your request by phone, you must complete and submit the Audio Recording form with the appropriate fee and a postage-paid envelope suitable for returning a physical copy of the recording by mail.
