Electronic Case Filing (ECF)

The Judiciary’s Case Management/Electronic Case Files (CM/ECF) system is the means by which judges, court staff, attorneys, and other public users electronically file, review, and download case information. The system is fully implemented in all federal courts.

The Kentucky Western Bankruptcy Court upgraded its Case Management/Electronic Case Filing System (CM/ECF) to the Next Generation of CM/ECF (NextGen) on March 14, 2022. This upgrade provides users with several new benefits. One of these benefits is Central Sign-On, a login process which allows e-filing public users to use one PACER login and password to access any NextGen court (district, appellate and bankruptcy) in which they practice.
