Retired Judge Thomas H. Fulton, of the United States Bankruptcy Court for the Western District of Kentucky, passed away on July 16, 2026, at the age of 79.  Judge Fulton was appointed to the bench of the United States Bankruptcy Court on December 6, 2002.  He retired from the bench on August 31, 2020.

Judge Fulton was a jurist of great intelligence, bringing, as his obituary notes, his vast legal knowledge, his compassion, and his sense of humor to the Court. He was also an Air Force veteran, a husband, a father, a grandfather, and a wonderful man. He will be greatly missed.
