Methods of Payment

NOTICE: Please be advised that in response to the COVID pandemic, cash payments are not being accepted at this time. As most payments are still being mailed to the Court and most fees are specific and certain amounts, we hope this causes minimal inconvenience. For copy fees, before coming to the Clerk's Office, please call 502-627-5700 and we can assist you in either determining the amount due so a money order or bank/cashier's check can be purchased or discuss other options to obtain documents via online means, such as PACER.

Payments made in person or by mail may be made with a cashiers check, certified check, money order, business check or cash.  No personal checks are accepted.  No third party checks or other negotiable instruments will be accepted.

All checks or money orders shall be made payable to Clerk, U.S. Bankruptcy Court.  Please note that fees are accepted at the Customer Service counter from 8:30 to 3:30 on business days.

Credit Card Payments
Credit cards payments can only be made via Pay.gov in CM/ECF by attorney/creditor/trustee filers with internet payment access. Credit card payments are no longer accepted at the Intake counter.

Pay.gov will accept the following credit cards for on-line payment: American Express, Visa, MasterCard, Discover and Diners Club.
