 General Orders 2020 to Present Including Those Concerning COVID-19

Information on Planned CM/ECF System and Network Maintenance

Website Maintenance: The KYWB public website will be unavailable on Monday, January 17, 2022 from 5pm ET to 8pm ET due to maintenance.

Announcement re: Changes to Federal Rules, Official Forms and Ch. 11 Reports: Amendments to Fed.R.Bank.P. 2005, 7007.1 and 9036 and to Official Form 122(b) are effective December 1, 2021. Information regarding the rules and form amendments is available on the Pending Rules and Form Amendments webpage maintained by the U.S. Courts. Additionally, for more information regarding the changes to Bankruptcy Rule 9036, please refer to the Judiciary’s Implementation Procedures. On November 30, 2021, the USTP will be posting updated versions of Chapter 11 Uniform Periodic Reports; for more information and for updated forms, please visit the U.S. Trustee’s website.

Inclement Weather: If you have questions as to whether the Clerk's Office is open due to weather incidents, please review the Inclement Weather Policy. When the policy is in effect, notice will be included on the voicemail for the Court's customer service number (502-627-5700) and when possible, in the Louisville courthouse.

ECF NextGen: The Kentucky Western Bankruptcy Court will transition to the Next Generation ("NextGen") version of CM/ECF on March 14, 2022. Please click here for more information.

General Order 2021-3: The Court has entered General Order 2021-3, addressing mask requirements for facility access in light of revised CDC guidance and informing parties that U.S. District Court General Order No. 21-16 applies to all parties wishing to access Bankruptcy Court facilities, including the Clerk's Office in Louisville.

Section 341 Meeting Information Related to COVID-19:  The Court has developed a web page with 341 Meeting Information related to COVID-19, including notices of continuance information, a sample notice for those the attorney for the debtor must serve and the U.S. Trustee's 341 Method document. Please be advised that telephonic/video 341 meetings are ongoing at this time and will be for all cases until further notice; see the update on the Court's What's New page.

Information regarding Credit Reports: The Court does not report information to credit reporting agencies and has no jurisdiction over these agencies. You must contact credit reporting agencies directly regarding these inquiries. More information is available on the Court's Bankruptcy Cases and Credit Reports page.
